Wendy Edmond

Wendy Edmond has extensive work experience in finance and operations management. Wendy currently holds the position of Finance Manager at Fischer Connectors since June 2018. Prior to this, they worked as the Financial Controller at MORE THAN ENOUGH LIMITED from July 2016 to April 2018, where they were responsible for the financial control and reporting of both UK and USA based digital marketing companies, as well as assisting with the creation and development of a new USA based company.

Before joining MORE THAN ENOUGH LIMITED, Wendy served as the Finance Manager at Strategic Distribution Solutions, LLC from 2007 to 2016. In this role, they were responsible for overall financial monitoring and reporting of all business activities, including financial analysis and assessment of new ventures.

From 2002 to 2007, Wendy worked as the Finance and Operations Manager at WB Consulting Services Ltd, where they oversaw the overall business operation and ensured profitability in each business sector. Their responsibilities included operational overview, financial analysis, and various accounting tasks.

Prior to WB Consulting Services Ltd, Wendy held three finance positions at British Airways from 1997 to 2002. In their most recent role as Manager Financial Support, they provided financial support to the Commercial Alliances Department and managed route-sharing profitability with Iberia and LOT Airlines. Wendy also managed and developed a part-qualified accountant during this time.

Wendy's career started at Aviva in 1995, where they worked as a Management Accountant for the Income Protection Division. Wendy was responsible for management accounting, budgetary control, and reporting to senior management and directors.

Wendy began their professional journey as a Financial Analyst at R Twining & Co Ltd in 1994, where they maintained the company's forecasting and budgetary control systems and conducted in-depth analysis of sector and market profitability.

Wendy Edmond obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from The Manchester Metropolitan University, graduating between the years 1985 and 1988. Wendy then pursued a degree in Accounting and Finance at Solent University, where they completed their Chartered Institute of Management Accountants qualification from 1990 to 1993. Additionally, Wendy obtained their certification from The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) in 1993.
