Wolfgang Pott

Wolfgang Pott has an extensive work experience in communications and journalism. Wolfgang started their career as a freelancer journalist at WDR in 1995 and later worked as a trainee at RHEINISCHE POST Redaktion. Wolfgang then joined WELT-Gruppe, Axel Springer SE as the Head of the Economics Department for NRW. After that, Wolfgang worked as a business reporter at Funke Mediengruppe GmbH & Co. KGaA. In 2009, they became the Head of Corporate Communications at Einkaufsbüro Deutscher Eisenhändler GmbH until 2015. Currently, they hold the same position at fischer group, where they have been since 2016.

Wolfgang Pott began their education at Deutsche Sporthochschule Köln in 1991, where they studied Publizistik until 1998. Wolfgang later pursued a degree in Redakteur at Rheinische Post from 1999 to 2001.
