Torey Lee Brooks, LEED AP, currently serves as an Embodied Carbon Expert for the US Environmental Protection Agency's Low Carbon Building Materials Program, focusing on implementing provisions of the Inflation Reduction Act to reduce emissions in material manufacturing. In addition, Brooks is an Adjunct Professor in Green Building Design at the University of New Hampshire and an Alpine Athlete for Fischer Sports. Previous experience includes roles as Sustainability Coordinator & Structural Designer at Oak Point Associates, Project Engineer at JSN Associates, Engineering & GIS Intern for the Town of Exeter, and participation in the Embassy Science Fellows Program with the U.S. Department of State. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural focus and an undergraduate dual degree in Civil Engineering and International Affairs, both from the University of New Hampshire, alongside studies at Lund University in Civil Engineering.
