Julio Viera

Julio Viera has held a variety of engineering roles since 2006. Julio began their career as a Sales Engineer at MTE Group, where they were the leader of a three person sales engineering team in Venezuela. In 2006, they became the Director of Technology at Smart Realtor, where they designed and developed the main technology platform for Coldwell Banker Latin America. From 2008-2010, Viera was the CEO and Co-Founder of Kawi Camping and the CTO and Co-Founder of Services for All, where they designed and developed a product that received 200,000 installs in 10 months. In 2010, they joined Pixable as the VP of Engineering, where they managed a team of 6 Back-end developers and 2 systems engineers to create and deploy Pixable's API. Julio then moved to Klink Inc. in 2013 as the VP of Engineering and Co-Founder, where they operated Contactive, the leading caller ID solution for Android users with over a million downloads. In 2015, Viera became the VP of Engineering at Fuze, a global, cloud-based unified communications platform. Julio is currently the VP Engineering at Fishbowl, a company they joined in 2020.

Julio Viera completed their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science at UCAB - Universidad Católica Andrés Bello from 2001 to 2006. Julio also attended Los Cedros from 1988 to 2000.
