Maye Samoiel, CPA, CICA, CFE, AMBCI  

Maye Samoiel is a CPA, CICA, CFE, and AMBCI with a wealth of experience in their field. Maye began their career in 2017 as a Member of L'effet A, an extensive professional development program designed to reveal women's talent and help them adopt a more ambitious attitude. In 2018, they joined PwC Canada as a Première Directrice/Senior Manager in Juricomptabilité and a Manager in Forensic Accounting, Consulting & Deals. In 2020, they became a Community Leader at Fishbowl, a platform for professionals of the same industry to have honest career conversations. Maye is currently contributing voluntarily to Effect A through a networking activity that allows ambitious women from new cohorts to reveal their networking skills.

Maye Samoiel obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the \u00c9cole des sciences de la gestion (ESG UQAM) between 2010 and 2013. In 2014 and 2015, they obtained a DESS-CPA, profil auditeur Certification from the same institution. In August 2017, they obtained a CPA certification from the Ordre des CPA du Qu\u00e9bec. In November 2017, they obtained a CICA certification from the Institute for Internal Controls. Finally, in February 2018, they obtained a CFE certification from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).
