Jim Scott

Jim Scott has a strong background in operations and management, with extensive experience in various industries. Jim most recently served as the Chief Operations Officer at Fisher Barton, overseeing multiple companies within the group. Prior to that, they held positions such as President at Fisher Barton and Vice President of Operations at Signicast, Hufcor, and USP Structural Connectors. Jim has also worked at Hart & Cooley Inc., where they served as the Director of Operations and Plant Manager. Throughout their career, they have managed manufacturing facilities, implemented continuous improvement initiatives, and supervised large workforces.

Jim Scott has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree with a dual degree in Industrial Engineering Technology and Industrial Management from Central Michigan University. Jim has also studied Lean Enterprise at the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee. In addition, they have taken courses in Financial Concepts for Non-Financial Managers, Acquisitions & Mergers, and Business Law at Tomkins College at the University of Indiana. Jim Scott has also completed a Lean Manufacturing Simulation program at the University of Kentucky and an Advanced Mixed Model & Demand Based Management & Flow Based Costing program at the JCIT Demand Flow Institute in Denver, CO. Furthermore, they have studied Value Stream Mapping at The Lean Enterprise Institute in Brookline, MA. Jim Scott has obtained certifications in Strategic Thinking, Sales Operations, and Sales: Data-Driven Sales Management from LinkedIn in July and June of 2018.
