Hamza Sheirah

Hamza Sheirah is currently the Aerodynamics Team Lead and a Composites Team Member for The University of Auckland Formula SAE Team, where skills in carbon fibre lamination and fabrication are being developed. As a Product Development Intern at Fisher & Paykel Healthcare, Hamza is gaining valuable experience in a professional setting. Previously, at Innovate Composites Ltd, Hamza worked as a Composite Technician, and as a Student Tutor at MyTuition, provided academic support in math and physics for NCEA students. An Executive Committee Member of the Mechanical & Mechatronics Student Association at the University of Auckland, Hamza organized various events to foster connections among peers. Early work experience includes a role as Food Service Manager at Burger King and as a Steel Fabricator intern at Weldzone, where proficiency in steel manipulation and manufacturing was acquired. Hamza is pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering at The University of Auckland.
