Samantha Oldfield has a strong background in biomedical engineering with a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree from The University of Auckland, earned between 2010 and 2013. Since November 2013, Samantha has held various positions at Fisher & Paykel Healthcare, progressing from Assistant Product Development Engineer to Product Development Manager. Prior experience includes a role as a Course Marker at The University of Auckland from March to November 2013 and a summer internship at the Auckland Bioengineering Institute from November 2012 to February 2013. Educational foundations were established at Botany Downs Secondary College from 2005 to 2009.
