Mike Butcher

Michael Butcher is an experienced software development leader currently serving as the Software Development Manager at Reshift Media Inc. since May 2022, where leadership of a team integrates various systems to enhance client and end-user experiences. Michael has been involved with FITC since 2009 as a Stage Team Leader, coordinating event logistics and serving as an emcee. Prior roles include Senior Software Engineer at Qool Media, Senior Web Developer at Intrigue, and Web Developer at Fongo Inc., with a strong focus on web development across multiple technologies and platforms. Michael also held significant positions at D2L, where project management and mentoring were key responsibilities, and Advertech Design Communications, progressing from Web Developer to Vice President of Multimedia Development over 12 years. Early career experience includes a position as a Programmer Analyst at The Mutual Group. Michael holds an education from Seneca Polytechnic.
