Daniel Batarce de Paula

Daniel Batarce de Paula is an experienced financial professional specializing in credit analysis and structured finance. Currently serving as a Senior Credit Analyst at SulAmérica since January 2021, Daniel leads the analysis and surveillance of structured finance and financial institution portfolios while developing key methodologies. Prior to this role, Daniel was an integral part of Newfoundland Capital Management as the Senior Analyst for Debt Capital Markets, where the first securitization of Income Share Agreements in Brazil was structured. Additional experience includes positions at Fitch Ratings and S&P Global Ratings, focusing on structured finance deals across Latin America. Daniel holds a Master of Laws in Corporate & Capital Markets Law from Ibmec and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie.
