Kwong Chung Li

Kwong Chung Li has a diverse work experience in the financial industry. Kwong Chung started in 2007 at Fitch Ratings as the Head of Business Development, Asia Pacific Structured Finance. In 2008, they became the Head of China and a Board Director at Fitch Ratings Beijing and China Lianhe Credit Ratings Ltd. Kwong Chung also served as the President and CEO of China Lianhe Credit Ratings Ltd. from 2008 to 2014. In 2014, they took on roles as the Head of Business Management, APAC, Head of Greater China, and a Board Director at Fitch Ratings Hong Kong. Kwong Chung served as the President Commissioner of Fitch Ratings Indonesia in 2015 and a Board Director of Fitch Ratings Thailand in 2015. From 2017 to present, they have been a Board Director at India Ratings & Research - A Fitch Group Company. Kwong Chung currently holds positions as a Board Director at Korea Ratings Corporation and the Chairman Of The Board and Legal Representative at Fitch Bohua (China) Credit Ratings Ltd.

Kwong Chung Li holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University, which they obtained from 1985 to 1989. In 2011 to 2012, they pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration from Rutgers Business School. Recently, in 2022, they completed the FT Board Director Programme, where they obtained a Non-Executive Board Director Diploma. Additionally, they also earned the FT Non-Executive Director Diploma - Pearson SRF BTEC Level 7 Advanced Professional Diploma and the ESG Fundamentals Certification in the same year.
