Joel Stephens

Joel Stephens has a strong background in finance and accounting, with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Joel is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at FitXR, a position they have held since September 2022. Prior to this, Joel worked as a Mentor at both the Black Working Women Network and The Obsidian Network, starting in October 2020. Between 2015 and 2022, Joel held multiple roles at Lyst, including VP2 Finance and FP&A, VP of Finance and FP&A, Director of Financial Operations, and Financial Controller. Their responsibilities at Lyst encompassed overseeing the finance departments, managing budgeting processes, leading trading meetings, analyzing financial data, and managing banking relationships. Before joining Lyst, Joel worked as a Financial Controller at both Global Career Company and KPMG UK, where they started their career as a Graduate Assistant before progressing to the role of Assistant Manager.

Joel Stephens completed their Master of Science (MSci) in Mathematics at the University of Birmingham from 2006 to 2010. Additionally, in September 2013, they obtained the ACA certification from the ICAEW.
