Jeff Romeo is the Executive Vice President of Technical Services at Fitzemeyer & Tocci. Jeff has 17 years of experience in the management, design, specifying and construction observations of electrical systems for municipal, industrial and private clients. Jeff is experienced with primary and secondary power distribution systems, renewable energy systems, grounding and lightning protection systems, instrumentation and motor control, hazardous location classification, lighting systems, life safety systems, fire alarm systems and security/communications systems. Mr. Romeo’s responsibilities have included design, specifications, reports, budgeting, cost estimating, project management, shop drawing review and construction observation. Jeff has also performed and reviewed power system, short circuit and coordination and arc flash studies as well as harmonic analysis.
Prior to their current position, Mr. Romeo was with CDM Smith from January 1996 to December 2013, where they eventually became Vice President. From 2011 until Sept of 2013 they were in the role of electrical practice leader as a technical manager for the Electrical Discipline responsible for more than 83 engineers around the globe. Jeff was responsible for meeting the practice’s sales and operating income goals while ensuring technical excellence and contributions that enhanced CDM’s stature.
Jeff Romeo pursued an Associate of Science in Electrical Engineering at Wentworth Institute of Technology before completing a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering at the same school. Jeff also holds an Associate of Science in Architectural Engineering from Wentworth Institute of Technology.
