Mia Percival has a diverse work experience in various healthcare and support roles. Mia is currently working as a Spine Research Coordinator at Murdoch Children's Research Institute (MCRI) since August 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Disability and Community Support Worker at Five Good Friends starting from March 2021.

During their time at Alfred Health, Mia held multiple positions. From April 2021 to August 2022, they served as the Lead Pharmacy Research Assistant. Before that, they were a Pharmacy Research Assistant from November 2019 to April 2021.

Mia Percival has a diverse education history. Mia completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Medicine at Deakin University from 2021 to 2025. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Health and Medical Science (Honours) in 2019 from the same institution. In 2015 to 2017, Mia pursued a Bachelor of Biomedical Science at Monash University. Before their university studies, they completed their secondary education at St Leonard's College in 2014 and Lauriston Girls' School from 2009 to 2013.

Additionally, Mia has also obtained several certifications. In 2020, they completed the DHCRC Telehealth Datathon from the Digital Health Cooperative Research Centre. In 2015, they graduated from the International Baccalaureate program.
