Lead Research Engineer (Motion Prediction) at Five

Morris Antonello has extensive experience in the field of computer vision and robotics. Morris started their career in 2014 as a research assistant and laboratory assistant at Università degli Studi di Padova. During this time, they also pursued their Ph.D. in Computer Vision and Robotics, which they completed in 2018.

In 2016, Morris worked as a visiting Ph.D. student at Technische Universität Wien and as a research consultant at IT+Robotics s.r.l.

Since 2018, Morris has been working at Five AI, starting as a research scientist specializing in motion prediction and computer vision. Morris then progressed to the role of Senior Research Engineer, responsible for motion prediction and planning. Currently, Morris holds the position of Lead Research Engineer, where they continue to focus on motion prediction.

Throughout their various roles, Morris has gained valuable expertise in motion prediction and planning, contributing to the advancement of autonomous systems and robotics.

Morris Antonello completed their education history as follows: From 2014 to 2018, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Information Technology from Università degli Studi di Padova. Prior to that, from 2012 to 2014, they obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science from the same university. From 2009 to 2012, Morris earned a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Università degli Studi di Padova. Lastly, they attended Liceo Ginnasio Statale Giorgione at Castelfranco Veneto from 2004 to 2009, obtaining a High School diploma with a scientific certificate.

In addition to their formal education, Morris Antonello also acquired two additional certifications. In June 2013, they obtained the Oxset Certificate C1 from the Oxford School of English, and in July 2007, they obtained the Goethe-Zertifikat B1 from the Goethe Institut.
