Roland Meister

Roland Meister has over 20 years of work experience in the automotive and aerospace industries. From 2000-2001, they were a Design Engineer (Contract) at Triple Eight Race Engineering, where they performed mechanical design and finite element analysis of British Touring Car Championship components. From 2001-2012, they worked at Cosworth in various roles, including Business Unit Leader, Product Manager, Business Manager, Applications Manager, and Customer Success & Sales Manager. In 2012, they became Chief Engineer at Ricardo, where they worked on EV battery systems and Hybrid vehicle architectures. From 2015-2017, they were Head of Aerospace, Automotive, and Autonomous Vehicles and Head of Transport at Innovate UK, where they provided support and funding to UK-based R&D. In 2015, they also served as an Industry Advisor at the Advanced Propulsion Centre UK. Since 2017, they have been Senior Director, Client Partnerships and Director, Vehicle Platforms at Five AI, where they work with OEM and Tier suppliers. In 2022, they will become Senior Director, L4 Product Management - Portfolio Strategy & Roadmap at Bosch.

Roland Meister attended Swansea University from 1999 to 2001, where they earned a 1st, B.Eng (Hons) in Motorsport Engineering & Design. Roland later attended the University of Cambridge from 2014 to 2016, where they earned an Executive MBA.
