Joe Vairetta

Joe Vairetta started their work experience in the cyber security field in 1998 with the USAF, where they worked as a Cyber Surety - Information Systems Security. Joe then joined ManTech in 2018 as a Cyber Security Analyst before moving on to Oak Ridge National Laboratory in 2020 as a Cyber Security Engineer. Currently, Joe is working at Fivesky as a Cyber Security - DevOps / SIEM Specialist.

Joe Vairetta's education history begins with their enrollment at the Community College of the Air Force, where they obtained an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Information Technology in 2017. Following this, they pursued further education at Western Governors University, graduating in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information Technology - Security.

In addition to their formal education, Joe Vairetta has obtained several certifications to enhance their skill set. Joe attained the Linux+ certification from CompTIA in September 2017 and the A+ certification in June 2017. Joe also achieved the CASP certification from CompTIA in May 2017 and the C|EH certification from EC-Council in April 2016. Furthermore, they hold the Security+ certification from CompTIA, acquired in September 2009. Joe'smost recent certification is the GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst (GCIA) from GIAC Certifications, achieved in January 2018.
