Sami Menteş

Sami Menteş has a diverse work experience in the field of computer vision and research. Sami started their career as an Intern at Microsoft in 2016. Sami then joined Periter Research and Technology as a Software Engineer Intern, where they worked on developing a risk prediction software. In 2019, Sami became a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at Özyeğin University's AI Lab. Sami was actively involved in research projects during their tenure. In 2021, they joined Fishency Innovation as a Computer Vision R&D Engineer and worked on various projects until 2022. Later in 2022, Sami joined T-Fashion as a Computer Vision R&D Engineer before moving to Fizyr, a leading pick and place vision software company in the logistics industry, where they currently hold the position of Computer Vision Engineer.

Sami Menteş has a strong educational background in computer science. Sami obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Özyeğin University, where they studied from 2015 to 2019. Following their undergraduate studies, Sami pursued further specialization in the field by completing a Master of Science degree in Computer Science at the same institution from 2019 to 2021. Prior to their university education, Sami attended Lycée Sainte Pulchérie, where they attained their High School Diploma between 2010 and 2015.
