Carlton DeVooght is the current President & CEO at Flagler Health. DeVooght has worked in the healthcare industry for over 15 years. Prior to Flagler Health, DeVooght served as the SEVP/ Chief Administrative Officer & Counsel at Flagler Health+ from January 2018 to March 2022. In this role, DeVooght was responsible for oversight of all legal matters and governmental affairs for Health System.

DeVooght also has experience working in state and Federal governmental affairs projects. In 2005, DeVooght started working as the Vice President/General Counsel & Government Relations at Southeast Georgia Health System where they were responsible for direct contact with Federal, state and local elected officials and their staff members and with representative of Federal and state agencies. DeVooght reported daily to the President & CEO and regularly to Members of the governing body.

In 2014, DeVooght left Southeast Georgia Health System to join Flagler Health+ as SEVP/ Chief Administrative Officer & Counsel. In this role, DeVooght was responsible for oversight of all legal matters and governmental affairs for Health System.

In 2018, DeVooght became the President & CEO at Flagler Health. In this role, DeVooght is responsible for leading the organization and its 2,000 employees to provide quality patient care across all of its facilities.

Carlton DeVooght received a B.A. in Theirtory from The University of Georgia. Carlton then went on to earn a JD from The University of Georgia Law School. After law school, they earned an M.B.A. with certification in Healthcare Management from Brenau University. Carlton is also certified as a Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) from the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics (SCCE) and as a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) from the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE).
