Daniel Melendez has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Before pursuing higher education, Daniel earned an Associate of Applied Science degree in Computer Networking from Rockland Community College from 2006 to 2008.

In addition to their formal education, Daniel has also obtained several certifications in the field. Daniel received the Microsoft 365 certification from Microsoft in February 2023. In November 2011, they obtained the MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional certification from Microsoft. In December 2010, they earned the Security+ certification from CompTIA. Daniel also obtained the CNS: Certified Network Security Specialist certification from Rockland Community College in May 2010. Furthermore, they have achieved several certifications from Fortinet, including the Fortinet Network Security Expert Level 1: Certified Associate, the Fortinet Network Security Expert Level 2: Certified Associate, and the Fortinet Network Security Expert Level 3: Certified Associate in December 2021. Lastly, they obtained the CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) certification from ISC2 in January 2014.
