Sabrina Yang

Sabrina Yang is a Senior Principal at Flagship Pioneering, leading the development of bio platform companies from seed stage through Series B and co-founding ventures such as Empress Therapeutics and FL91 (now Ampersand Biomedicines). In addition to this role, Yang serves as Chief Innovation Officer at Empress Therapeutics, focusing on platform innovation and external collaborations. Yang’s experience includes a translational fellowship at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where a small molecule T-cell targeting drug delivery platform for cancer immunotherapy was developed, along with participation in entrepreneurial courses and conferences. With a strong academic background, including a Ph.D. and a Master's in Materials Science and Engineering from MIT, Yang has contributed to various research projects and holds a Bachelor's degree from National Tsing Hua University.
