Shawna Golden

Shawna Golden, APR, is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in the nonprofit sector, particularly within the National MS Society and the International Progressive MS Alliance. Currently serving as Vice President of Global Initiatives, Shawna leads the Society’s global engagement strategy, focusing on building international relationships and advancing efforts for multiple sclerosis cures. Previous roles include Associate Vice President at the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and Sr. Director of Operations for the International Progressive MS Alliance, where Shawna managed key global initiatives with significant financial backing. Additional experience encompasses various marketing and public relations roles, including ownership of Golden Communications, LLC, and senior positions at GroundFloor Media and MGA Communications. Shawna holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and Business from the University of Arizona.
