Richard Leon

Richard Leon, MBA, has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Richard currently holds the position of Second Vice President, Enterprise Data Quality Manager at New York Community Bank (NYCB), where they are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of the organization's data. Prior to this, they worked as an Assistant Vice President at Citi, where they managed internal audit activities and provided strategic direction for the North America Internal Audit department. Richard also gained valuable experience at Morgan Stanley as a Manager in the Wealth & Investment Management Finance Risk division. Additionally, they have worked at American Express and Transamerica Retirement Solutions in roles focused on compliance, financial analysis, and client service. Richard's early career included an internship at the Office of US Senator Hillary Clinton, where they handled constituent inquiries and conducted legislative policy research. With their extensive experience and expertise in data quality management, internal audit, and financial analysis, Richard brings a strong skill set to any professional role they undertake.

Richard Leon, MBA has a Master Business Administration degree in Finance from Iona University, which they completed from 2009 to 2011. Richard also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University at Albany, State University of New York. Richard completed their high school education at Schreiber High School from 1997 to 2001. In addition, they obtained the Series 6 certification from FINRA in January 2007.
