Tom Lunsford has extensive experience in the finance industry. Tom worked as the Chief Financial Officer at FLANDERS, a provider of electrical motor and component services. Prior to that, they held the same role at MPP, a global leader in engineered components production. Before entering the private sector, Lunsford worked at Caterpillar Inc. in various financial roles, including U.S. Operations Controller and Senior Financial Analyst. Tom also gained experience at Katz, Sapper & Miller as a Manager in Income Tax Consulting & Compliance.

Tom Lunsford has a strong educational background in both business and law. Tom obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business in 1999. During the same period, they also completed their Doctor of Law degree (JD) from Indiana University Maurer School of Law. Later, in 2002, Tom completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Accounting from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business.

In addition to their formal degrees, Tom has obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 2003, they became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) through the Indiana Board of Accountancy. Tom also holds the Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) designation from the AICPA, which they obtained in 2014. Tom has further enhanced their skills by earning a Business Analytics Certificate from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania through Coursera in 2016. Most recently, in 2018, they obtained a Cybersecurity Fundamentals Certificate from the AICPA.

Tom is also qualified as an Attorney-at-Law, having been admitted to the Indiana Supreme Court in 2002. However, their status is currently listed as "Inactive in Good Standing."
