Susan Rush

Susan Rush began their work experience in 1995 as an Accounts Payable and Payroll employee at the Casting Technologies Company. Susan worked there until 1998. In the same year, Susan joined the Buchanan Group, Inc & Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Centers as the Vice President of Human Resources, where they continue to work.

Susan Rush earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management/Human Resource Management from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis, which they attended from 1995 to 2006. Prior to that, they graduated from Richmond High School in 1982, receiving a High School Diploma with a focus on General Studies.

In addition to their formal education, Susan Rush has obtained several certifications. Susan became a Professional in Human Resources (PHR®) through the HR Certification Institute - HRCI in June 2009. Susan also achieved the SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) designation from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) in August 2015.
