Gregory Huang

Gregory Huang is a skilled GIS professional with a robust background in spatial data analytics and geomatics. Currently serving as GIS Lead and Geomatics Specialist at Flash Forest since January 2021, Gregory focuses on workflow automation and tool development for internal GIS support. Previous experience includes a practicum at the Canadian Urban Institute, where spatial data analytics was emphasized as part of a Master's program at Toronto Metropolitan University. Gregory has also worked as an Ecological Data Analyst at the University of Toronto, specializing in ArcGIS projections related to Brazilian Amazon data, and as a Geospatial Data Analyst intern at BlueDot Inc. Additional roles include research assistance in metabolomics and a summer internship at Siemens, where data collection for building technologies was conducted. Gregory holds a Master's degree in Spatial Analysis and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Toronto.
