Julia Gurtoff has a diverse work experience starting from 1999. Julia began their career as an integrated intern at Lingua Center, where they designed educational syllabus and guided students. Julia later worked as an editorial intern at AutoZAZ-Daewoo. Julia then started their own business as a business owner, project manager, translator, and interpreter, specializing in aerospace industry translation and interpretation at Professional Translation and Interpreting Services. Julia joined Translated in 2006 as a translation and localization professional, where they provided proofreading, editing, and interpretation services. From 2012 to 2017, they worked at Hackensack University Medical Center through The Language Center as a language specialist, delivering medical translation projects and serving as an interpreter for patients. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Team Lead, Tactical Threat Monitoring and Cyber Risk Analytics at Flashpoint, where they have been working since 2017.
Julia Gurtoff completed their Bachelor's degree in Linguistics and Translation at the National University of Zaporizhzhya from 1996 to 2000. Julia then pursued a Master's degree in Linguistics and Translation at the same university from 2000 to 2001. Later, from 2015 to 2017, they studied Information Engineering at the University of Koblenz and Landau, although they did not complete a degree in that field.
