Karl Beasley is an experienced culinary professional currently serving as an Executive Chef at FlavorHook Restaurants since September 2022. Previously, Karl held the position of Sous Chef at Bond 45 from 2014 until August 2023. Karl's foundational knowledge in the culinary field was gained through education at the Florida Culinary Institute, where a degree in Culinary Arts and Hotel Restaurant Management was obtained from 2000 to 2003.

Formed in 2008, FlavorHook is a collective of independent restaurants. We currently operate 9 restaurants, soon to be 10, in the Dallas area: Neighborhood Services The Original, Neighborhood Services Addison, Montlake Cut, Town Hearth, Desert Racer, Yo! Lobster, National Anthem, Neighborhood Services Oak Lawn, and Brass Ram. Pop Top, the newest creation from Nick Badovinus, will open in May, above National Anthem and Brass Ram, capturing unbeatable views of the downtown Dallas skyline, craft cocktails, and approachable bites. FlavorHook’s creation, expression and reach are enduring and timeless. For us, a “FlavorHook” is always big, brave and bold. It is more physical than cerebral, felt rather than thought. It is a theatrically exaggerated gesture necessary to reach everyone in the back row. It is crafted by hand, not mechanically engineered. It is rooted in tradition but lived in the moment. It is more passionate than it is precise, although not by much. It inspires its own vocabulary and derives its own meaning. It is celebrated by a group of friends, passed on from one generation to the next and shared intimately between soul mates.
