Ian Partis is a highly experienced aerospace professional with expertise in satellite operations and geophysical exploration technologies. Currently serving as the Head of Satellites and Mission at Fleet Space Technologies since June 2019, Ian oversees the architecture, system design, launch, and operation of the company's cubesat constellation. Concurrently, since December 2020, this role includes leading efforts to adapt satellite and sensor technologies for lunar geophysical exploration in support of NASA's Artemis mission at Seven Sisters Mission. Prior to these roles, Ian worked as a Senior Technical Specialist Training Consultant at Three Dee Bee, providing consultancy and training for Defence SATCOM, and spent over two decades at Optus, advancing from an Orbit Dynamics Analyst to a leading Spacecraft Engineer in Satellite Operations. Ian holds a Master's degree in Surveying Science and a Bachelor's degree in Applied Science from UNSW and QUT, respectively.
