Amit Narayan

Amit Narayan has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Amit started their career at Commonwealth Bank as a Customer Service Specialist, where they primarily worked in an office environment, handling requests, conducting investigations, and performing data entry tasks.

Amit then moved on to Spotless Group, where they worked as a Stock Control and Payroll Admin, responsible for managing inventory and handling payroll administration. Amit later took on the role of Payroll Officer at Spotless Group, where they processed payroll for over 800 employees per week, dealt with complex payroll queries and system issues, and demonstrated in-depth knowledge of vulnerable worker laws and various employee agreements.

Following their time at Spotless Group, Amit joined BestStart as a Payroll Officer, before transitioning to Fletcher Building. At Fletcher Building, they initially served as a Senior Payroll Partner, where they played a key role in payroll operations. Amit then progressed to the position of Payroll Specialist, where they demonstrated expertise in payroll processes and systems. Currently, Amit holds the position of Payroll training and divisional lead at Fletcher Building.

Throughout their career, Amit has gained extensive experience in payroll operations, including payroll processing, system management, and dealing with complex payroll-related queries. Amit Narayan obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting & Commercial Law from The University of Auckland from 2011 to 2014. Prior to that, they completed NCEA Level 3 at Manurewa High School from 2006 to 2011, covering subjects such as Accounting, Economics, Maths, English, and Classical Studies.
