Jeremy Yan

Jeremy Yan has a strong background in finance and strategy, with a focus on the building and construction industry. Jeremy is currently the Head of Finance and Commercial at Fletcher Wood Products, a position they have held since July 2023. Prior to this role, Jeremy was the Head of Strategy for Building Products at Fletcher Building, starting in February 2022.

Before joining Fletcher Building, Jeremy served as the Chief Financial Officer for Aliaxis New Zealand from September 2020 to February 2022. Jeremy also held the position of Commercial Manager and Head of Finance at Humes, a member of the Fletcher Building Group, from September 2019 to June 2020.

Jeremy's earlier experience includes various roles at Fletcher Building, Delegat Limited, Telecom New Zealand, Ernst & Young, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and KPMG New Zealand. These roles involved financial planning, performance management, transaction advisory services, insurance and risk financing, regulatory reporting, and senior financial analysis, among other responsibilities.

Jeremy Yan attended Wellington College from 1997 to 2000. Jeremy then pursued a Bachelor of Commerce and Administration degree at Victoria University of Wellington from 2001 to 2004, specializing in Accounting and Commercial Law.
