Mitchell Wolski

Mitchell Wolski's work experience begins in 2008, when they worked as a Commercial Analyst (Student) at QR Network. In this role, they developed a model for future train scheduling, designed performance reports, and performed office administration tasks.

From 2009 to 2013, Mitchell worked at the Department of Transport and Main Roads as an Internal Auditor and Graduate Audit Officer. During this time, they executed internal audits of multi-billion dollar programs, assessed adherence to procurement policies, and conducted data analysis to identify systemic issues and recommend solutions. Their recommendations led to improved compliance outcomes and cost savings.

In 2015, Mitchell joined KPMG as a Consultant in Internal Audit, Risk, and Controls. Mitchell assisted with planning, budgeting, and report writing for internal audits and advisory engagements. Mitchell also participated in business development activities and prepared workshop ideas for publishing on KPMG's intranet.

Mitchell then moved to Sime Darby, where they served as a Senior Executive and later as an Assistant Manager in Corporate Assurance. Their responsibilities included providing internal assurance services, leading independent appraisals, analyzing risks, and developing audit programs. Mitchell supported the provision of assurance, audit, investigation, and advisory services across various business units.

Most recently, Mitchell joined Fletcher Building as a Senior Internal Audit Lead in 2023. The position and its specific responsibilities are not provided.

Mitchell Wolski has a Master of Business Advanced degree in Professional Accounting Major from QUT (Queensland University of Technology), obtained from 2013 to 2014. Mitchell also holds a Bachelor's Degree from QUT, with a major in Finance and a minor in Mathematics (Stochastic Modelling), earned from 2007 to 2009. Additionally, Mitchell Wolski has certifications as a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) from ISACA, obtained in 2019, and as a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) from ACFE, obtained in 2018.
