Benjamin Gilbert

Benjamin Gilbert has a strong background in data engineering and data science. Benjamin'smost recent position was as a Lead Data Engineer at Flex, where they started in 2022. Prior to that, they held multiple roles at Fetch Rewards, starting as a Data Engineer in 2020 and progressing to Technical Manager, Director, and ultimately becoming the Director of Data Platform. Before Fetch Rewards, Benjamin worked at Drum Technologies as a Data Scientist Engineer, where they were involved in research and development of content diversification algorithms and building ETL pipelines within the AWS ecosystem. Benjamin also worked as a Data Scientist at Steady, where they developed a partner data importer and designed a job recommendation engine. Benjamin started their career as a Data Engineer at BBVA Compass and later worked as a Senior Statistical Analyst at Cardlytics, Inc.

Benjamin Gilbert earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Statistics and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics from the University of North Carolina Asheville from 2007 to 2012. Benjamin then pursued a Master's degree in Applied Economics at Clemson University from 2012 to 2014.
