Bob Beaty

Bob Beaty has extensive experience in the technology industry, with a focus on engineering and architecture roles. Bob is currently working as a Principal Engineer and Architect at Flex, where they collaborate with start-up founders to develop financial services and cash flow solutions for the construction industry. Prior to this, Bob was the Director of Engineering at Vodori, where they worked with senior leadership to empower the development group and create stable services using Clojure-based development tools. Bob also held the position of Principal Engineer at The Climate Corporation, where they coordinated the architecture of projects and represented the corporate architecture group. In addition, Bob has worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Guaranteed Rate, a Senior Principal Engineer at Centro, and an Expert Engineer at Groupon. Bob also has experience at PEAK6 Investments LP, Chicago Trading Company, UBS/O'Connor, and FirstChicago/BankOne, where they held various senior and management roles, focusing on systems architecture and software development.

Bob Beaty has a strong educational background in Electrical Engineering. Bob received their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Indiana University Indianapolis in 1980. After that, they attended Purdue University where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering between 1980 and 1988.
