Cory Krug

Sr. Principal Tools and Design Flows Engineer at Flex Logix

Cory Krug has worked in the technology industry since 1996. Cory began their career as a Co-op Engineer at Advanced Micro Devices, where they worked for six semesters. Cory then returned to Advanced Micro Devices as a Member of Technical Staff, where they were responsible for fullchip timing constraints signoff, semi-custom logic design/placement/routing, implementation of K9 Trace Cache blocks, and design improvement task force for later versions of K8/Opteron. In 2010, they moved to Oracle as a Principal Hardware Engineer, where they developed a hand placement tool and worked with the Instruction Fetch Unit Architect. In 2011, they joined Oracle Labs as a Consulting Member of Technical Staff, where they built a RTL-to-GDS flow for a small physical design team. In 2017, they joined Samsung Austin R&D Center as a Staff CAD Engineer, where they built synthesis flows with the latest EDA tools and managed a Git repo for the methodology team. Currently, they are a Sr. Principal Tools and Design Flows Engineer at Flex Logix Technologies, Inc.

Cory Krug obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Purdue University between 1995 and 2000.
