Chris Merriam has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Starting in 1996, they served as an Armor Officer in the US Army until 2000. From 2000 to 2001, they worked as an Account Manager at Pegasus Careers. Chris then joined Amazon in 2001 and served as an Area Manager, Business/Finance Analyst, and Operations Manager until 2005.
In 2005, Chris transitioned to Lexmark International, Inc. where they held various roles until 2019. Chris started as a SOX Analyst, responsible for documenting processes and controls. Chris then became a Senior Finance Analyst, Team Lead, overseeing financial planning and analysis for Customer Services division. Following that, they served as a Lead Cost Analyst, managing product costs and variances. Chris later worked as a Demand Planner, responsible for supplies forecast and financial outlook. From 2014 to 2019, they served as a Senior Finance/Data Analyst, WW Business Intelligence, leading projects and analyzing data related to printer performance and market reporting.
Chris Merriam's most recent position is at Flex Technology Group, starting in 2019. Chris holds the role of Financial Systems Director and was also briefly a Business Analyst within the same year.
Chris Merriam completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting at the University of Tampa from 1994 to 1996. Following this, from 1998 to 2000, they pursued their Masters in Business Administration (MBA) at Troy State University.
