Yiqing Liu

Yiqing Liu is a Staff Machine Learning Scientist at Flexport since May 2021, having previously held the position of Senior Machine Learning Scientist. Prior experience includes data science roles at Boeing from February 2018 to May 2021, where Yiqing designed and implemented a machine learning model for optimal aircraft parts pricing, leading to increased financial opportunities. Additionally, Yiqing developed classification models to enhance fastener installation accuracy, achieving a 76% reduction in error rates. Earlier experience includes a data scientist internship at BOSS Zhipin, where Yiqing created the User Engagement Scores metric to evaluate platform engagement. Yiqing holds a Master’s Degree in Statistics (Financial Statistics & Risk Management) from Rutgers University and a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Mathematics from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications.
