Angela Mills

Angela Mills has a diverse and extensive work experience in the travel industry. Angela began their career in 1997 as an Accounts Officer at Stars Travel, where they managed various aspects of the company's accounts. Angela then joined Stars Sports Tours & Events in 1999, where they worked as a Tours Supervisor, responsible for managing the team and overseeing the profitability of packaged tours. In 2004, Angela worked as a Tour Coordinator at Williment Sports Travel, focusing on producing supporters tours for motorsport events.

In 2005, Angela joined Atlas Travel as a Groups & Incentives Consultant, where they worked with corporate clients to design and execute travel programs. Due to their outstanding performance, they were promoted to lead the groups team, curating travel incentive programs for leading companies in New Zealand.

In 2008, Angela joined Travel Managers Group Ltd, initially as a Broker Operations Manager, overseeing travel broker operations and organizing company events. Angela was later promoted to Operations Manager, where they oversaw all aspects of the company's operations and implemented new systems and processes. Angela then became the General Manager Operations, managing the company's continuous growth and their increased responsibilities. Angela was eventually promoted to the role of Chief Operating Officer in 2015, where they focused on developing systems and processes, leading people through change and development, and ensuring continuous improvement for efficiencies and best practice.

Angela's most recent position is the Chief Operating Officer for Travel Managers Group at Flight Centre Travel Group New Zealand, which they started in 2017. Angela is responsible for overseeing the operations of the Travel Managers Group.

Throughout their career, Angela has demonstrated leadership, dedication, and a focus on continuous improvement in the travel industry.

Angela Mills attended Takapuna Grammar School and completed their Higher School Certificate in 1993. Angela then went on to study at Auckland University of Technology from 1995 to 1997, where they obtained a NZ Diploma in Business.
