Brian Vacek

Brian Vacek is a seasoned software engineering manager with extensive experience in the development of flight simulator software and related technologies. At FlightSafety International since June 2007, Vacek has held various roles, including Software Engineering Manager, Software Group Lead, Staff Software Engineer, and Principal Software Engineer, overseeing teams that specialize in mixed reality products, display alignment technology, and 3D content pipelines. Prior experience includes a position as a Software Engineer at VOS Design, focusing on software development for various applications, and a role as a Laboratory Technician at Shawnee Mission Health. Vacek holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Film from Washington University in St. Louis.
