Leslie Kaufman

Leslie Kaufman is an accomplished professional in medical market research and healthcare, currently serving as a Partner at Flince Research + Design since September 2010, focusing on qualitative and ethnographic research with patients, families, and healthcare providers. Previously, Leslie held multiple leadership roles at the NYC Department of Health & Mental Hygiene from July 2002 to April 2010, including Director of Healthy Start Brooklyn, where strategic planning and program implementation were key responsibilities. As Director of Qualitative Research, Leslie led studies on health practices and identified priority health issues for program strategy. Earlier experience includes serving as a Program Evaluator and Lead User Experience Researcher at Rare Medium, where Leslie managed qualitative research methodologies. Leslie holds a Ph.D. in anthropology from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in literature and languages from New York University.
