Following this, in 2015, Tanya enrolled at Queen's University to pursue a Master of Arts degree in History, which they completed in 2016. Subsequently, Tanya joined the Université de Montréal in 2016 and spent three years there, until 2019, in order to obtain their Bachelor of Laws degree. Most recently, in 2020, they attended École du Barreau for further legal education.
