Emily G. is an experienced procurement professional with a solid background in managing high-value procurements and contracts within various Canadian governmental organizations. Currently serving as the Supply Team Leader for Special Procurement Initiatives at Public Services and Procurement Canada since September 2015, Emily oversees complex procurements exceeding $100 million, including significant IT projects for the Department of National Defence. Previously, Emily held positions such as Team Leader at Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Procurement & Contracting Officer at the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada. With a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications from Carleton University, Emily has demonstrated proficiency in strategic procurement, contract management, and supplier engagement throughout a career spanning over a decade.
