James Mansfield

James Mansfield has a diverse work experience in design and product roles. James is currently the Lead Product Designer at Flip since April 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the Principal Service Designer at the NSW Department of Customer Service from December 2021 to April 2023. James also held the position of Head of Design at Amplified from February 2020 to September 2021, where they were responsible for redesigning their SaaS product and collaborating on various aspects of the business. Before that, they worked as the Lead Product Designer at Airwallex from September 2019 to January 2020, leading the strategy and design of their SME product and overseeing various projects. James also worked at REA Group as a Lead Product Designer from July 2018 to September 2019, focusing on the Rent team and delivering updates and new products. Additionally, they worked at Cogent as a Lead Product Designer from May 2016 to July 2018, consulting for tech companies and managing designers. James Mansfield was also a Co-Founder of Got a Team, a startup focused on organizing social sports teams, from August 2013 to January 2018. James has also held positions at Reputationaire and AssetOwl, where they contributed to the design practice and managed design work. Finally, they worked as a Product Designer at YourGrocer, being one of the first employees and working on various design projects.

James Mansfield attended Curtin University from 1993 to 1996, where they pursued a Bachelor of Art (Design) degree. James'smajor was in product design, while their minor was in multimedia design.
