Brian Earwood

Brian Earwood is an experienced Lead Product Designer currently at IBM since June 2025, with a prior tenure at HashiCorp from July 2021 to June 2025, where responsibilities included leading design and collaborating closely with Product and Engineering teams. Previously, Brian held senior product design roles at Elastic from May 2018 to October 2020, focusing on the Workplace Search product, while also utilizing skills in coding with Github, Typescript, and React. Earlier in Brian's career, design and web development roles were fulfilled at Simple Focus from August 2013 to April 2018, leading client projects and user research, and at inferno from July 2010 to August 2013, developing solutions for FedEx. Brian earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design and Painting from Mississippi State University.
