Rimba Erlangga

Rimba Erlangga has worked in various roles in the data science field since 2019. In that year, they were a Research Assistant at Universitas Gadjah Mada. Rimba then worked as a Data Scientist Intern at Nusantera, a startup with a focus on developing Internet of Things devices, where they built a predictive model to forecast the energy consumption of a hotel. In 2020, they worked as both a Data Scientist and Data Science Mentor at Sadasa Academy. In 2021, they were a Data Scientist at Merkle Indonesia and a Freelance Data Scientist at Projects.co.id, where they did time series forecasting of Particulate Organic Carbon using SARIMAX, data visualization and clustering analysis of Aerosol Optical Depth data, and solved Capacitated Multi-Trip Vehicle Routing Problem with Genetic Algorithm, among other tasks. Rimba is currently an Associate Data Scientist at Flip.

Rimba Erlangga's education history consists of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) from 2016 to 2020, followed by a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence from UGM from 2022 to 2023. Prior to that, Rimba Erlangga attended SMA Negeri 4 Denpasar from 2013 to 2016. Additionally, Rimba Erlangga has obtained certifications from various institutions, including HackerRank, Coursera, and DataCamp, in topics such as C# (Basic), SQL (Intermediate), End-to-End Machine Learning with TensorFlow on GCP, Problem Solving (Basic), Neural Networks and Deep Learning, Introduction to TensorFlow in Python, Working with the Class System in Python, Supervised Learning with scikit-learn, Introduction to SQL, Python Data Science Toolbox (Part 1), Intermediate Python, and Introduction to Python.
