Marty Rose has extensive experience in both sports coaching and data analysis. Since September 2015, Marty has served as the Women's Premier Team Head Coach for Vancouver United FC in a volunteer capacity. Concurrently, Marty has been a Data Quality Analyst at Flipboard Inc. since March 2014. Previous roles include Search Editor at Zite, Inc. (2010-2014), where Marty was responsible for developing and maintaining topic taxonomy for a news aggregation app, and Learning Centre Facilitator at Southwark College (2007-2010), where coordination of support for students was key. Additionally, Marty worked as a Researcher at CBC (1994-2001), contributing to story research and scriptwriting, and served as a Director for the British Columbia Soccer Association (1998-2000), focusing on technology and coaching initiatives. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Library and Information Studies from The University of British Columbia and an Honours Bachelor's degree in History and Political Science from Wilfrid Laurier University.
