As the Senior Email Marketing Manager at Flodesk, you will be the architect of our email campaigns, crafting messages that resonate and drive action. Through your strategic vision, you will manage the subscriber lifecycle, creating a seamless and personalized journey for our users. Reporting to the Marketing Director and working amongst a growing marketing team, your expertise will not only enhance our brand's voice but also ensure our messaging captivates and converts.

What you'll be doing:

  • Email Marketing Strategy: Create and implement a robust email marketing strategy that aligns with our overall marketing goals and brand voice
  • Copywriting: Develop compelling content, including eye-catching subject lines, persuasive body copy, and effective calls-to-action
  • Manage Campaigns: Design and manage email campaigns, focusing on onboarding, engagement, and retention to enhance the subscriber experience
  • Data Insights: Monitor and analyze email campaign performance to continually optimize our strategies based on key metrics and insights
  • Compliance: Stay abreast of email marketing trends and regulatory requirements (such as CAN-SPAM, GDPR, etc.) to ensure our campaigns are both effective and compliant 
  • Optimization: Set up and optimize automated email workflows and triggered emails that respond to user interactions
  • Collaborate: Work closely with our teams such as Product and Design, to ensure a unified and consistent messaging across all channels

What you bring:

  • At least 5 years of experience in email marketing, with a demonstrated ability to develop successful strategies
  • Knowledge of CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and other email marketing regulations
  • Exceptional writing skills, with the ability to create engaging and persuasive email content
  • Strong analytical skills, proficient in evaluating and acting on marketing metrics and data insights
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the capacity to manage multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

  • Base salary range: $75,000 - $95,000 
  • 10% discretionary annual bonus potential
