Kurt Shouse

Kurt Shouse is currently an Adjunct Lecturer at University of Massachusetts Amherst, where Kurt teaches Introduction to Cybersecurity Risk Management. With previous experience as a Vice President, Information and Cyber Security Officer at Florence Bank, Kurt provides leadership in developing Business Line security initiatives and implementing IT system defenses against security breaches. Kurt has also served as an Adjunct Faculty at Bay Path University, a Cybersecurity Graduate Student at Utica College, and held various roles at different companies such as United Technologies, Capital Merchant Services, Travelers Insurance Co., and MassMutual. Kurt holds a Master of Science in Cyber/Computer Forensics and Operations from Utica College and a Bachelor of Arts in Management Studies from University of Massachusetts. Additionally, Kurt has a certificate in Banking from The New England School for Financial Studies at Babson College.
