Kumar Das Gupta

Kumar Das Gupta is currently an advisor at Florence Crittenton Services of North Carolina. Prior to this, they worked as the SVP, Head of Operations at Brighthouse Financial from January 2017 to June 2021. In this role, they were responsible for driving policy administration, vendor management, sales commissions management, and continued transformation as the company completed its separation from MetLife Insurance Company. Kumar also oversaw the company's divestiture to ensure a seamless transition and integration of operations.

During their time at Brighthouse Financial, Kumar was able to reduce costs and optimize revenue by executing efficient contract bidding and procurement processes - an accomplishment that to date has added $30M+ to the bottom line. Kumar also outsourced the company's $100M operations team to a third-party administrator.

Kumar Das Gupta has a Master of Science in Management Information Systems and Services from Stony Brook University, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Economics from Stony Brook University.
