Yohannes Tekilu

Yohannes Tekilu is an experienced professional in the agricultural sector, currently serving as R&D Manager at Florensis since July 2017. Prior to this role, Yohannes held positions including Assistant Sourcing Manager at Selet Hulling PLC and Export Facilitator at Upper Awash Agro-Industry Enterprise. With a solid background in research and education, Yohannes has also contributed as Head of Section for fruit fly protection and as a Soil and Agronomy Researcher. Earlier career highlights include roles as Associate Researcher-II at Afar Pastoral and Agro-pastoral Research Institute, and as an instructor at both Lucy Water Works College and Mizan Teferi Agricultural TVET College. Yohannes holds a Master’s Degree in Agriculture from Hawassa University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Soil and Water Conservation from Mekelle University.
